  • NNerve excitability studies are much more sensitive than conventional nerve conduction studies to changes in the membrane properties of nerve fibers.  non-invasively, in vivo.
  • In-vivo rapid testing protocol to assess stimulus/response curves, strength-duration properties, threshold electrotonus and recovery cycle of myelinated axons.
  • This non-invasive test provides an indirect assessment of changes in membrane potential and altered fuction of sodium, potassium (fast & slow) and Ih channels, in response to different maneuvers or applied substances.
  • Available for human and rodent motor axons, and human myelinated sensory axons.
